Hello. I am first to this forum..

I have an audio problem. it is cracking.

I searched the Internet and tried several solutions suggested : updated GPU driver and sound driver, and command "verifier /reset"

There were some changes on LatencyMon, but the sound is still cracking.

Please help me..

Hi Jaewoong. :welcome:

  • Please provide answers for (answer the best that you can):
    • System Manufacturer?
    • Laptop or Desktop?
    • Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom)
    • OS ? (Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista)
    • x86 (32bit) or x64 (64bit)?
    • Service pack?
    • What was original installed OS on system?
    • Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)?
    • Age of system? (hardware)
    • Age of OS installation?
    • Have you re-installed the OS?
    • CPU
    • Video Card
    • MotherBoard - (if NOT a laptop)
    • Power Supply - brand & wattage (if laptop, skip this one)
  • System information log
You should run only one of the following commands, the one you prefer.
    Read More:
    Code:
    msinfo32 /nfo "c:\users\YourWinAccountFolder\desktop\MsInfo.nfo"
    or
    msinfo32 /nfo "c:\users\%username%\desktop\MsInfo.nfo"
    or
    msinfo32 /nfo "%userprofile%\desktop\MsInfo.nfo"
    (Then upload it here)

  • Retrieve System Information, using speccy
    1. Download Speccy portable - actual version 1.29.714 (click), unzip/decompress it and put it on your desktop.
    2. When the program opens, it will retrieve some information regarding your system.
    3. Once it's done, select the File menu and choose Publish snapshot. Answer Yes to the confirmation message.
    4. On the next screen that comes up, choose the Copy to Clipboard button and paste this link in your next reply.
    5. (Or attach the log here, if you prefer to not publish it for some reason)

  • Download and install the Windows Performance Toolkit - Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) for Windows 8.1 Update - adksetup.exe 1.36MB (click):
    Read More:
Then open an elevated command prompt (right-click on the windows start button on bottom-left corner, left-click Command Prompt (Admin)) and launch these commands:

You can also read the original tutorial/guide and its following posts for more informations:

The most visible problem is you are using two or three firewalls:
  • windows firewall service is running
  • Kaspersky Internet Security includes a firewall module
  • MyFirewall 4.0 Service exists on your machine, even if it's stopped

Remove MyFirewall 4.0 completely, if you are not using it, and re-check windows firewall status (it should be enabled either windows firewall or Kaspersky firewall).

Is nProtect (nossvc.exe, nosstarter.npe) another antivirus? If yes, uninstall it (or use that instead of Kaspersky... I.e., use only one antivirus).

Try to update (or reinstall?) the driver(s) for your network adapter.
If your NIC is realtek RTL8168, it should be this: realtek.com.tw - Win8/8.1 setup for RTL8168 (click)

That should work also for RTL8168B, RTL8168C, RTL8168E, and other models... See next link:

realtek.com.tw - General download webpage to download drivers for RTL8111B/RTL8168B/RTL8111/RTL8168/RTL8111C/RTL8111CP/RTL8111D(L)/RTL8168C/RTL8111DP/RTL8111E
RTL8168E/RTL8111F/RTL8411/RTL8111G/RTL8111GUS/RTL8411B(N)/RTL8118AS
