I was working on updating from Win7 to Win10, and needed to use the System Update Readiness Tool to find some errors to fix before the upgrade would work. On a different machine, I've upgraded to Win10 (from Win7), but think I may have some corrupted files in my system. Is there a tool I can use, similar to the SURT, for Windows 10 to search for corrupted files?

Here's an update. I ran sfc /scannow and the system found errors. I'm attaching the dism.log. I uploaded the CBS.log to my Google Drive and shared it. Here is a link to it: Sign in - Google Accounts

Any help you can give me on this will be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi TR54 :)

My name is Aura and I'll be assisting you with your issue. It seems that I need to ask you for your permission to download the CBS.log on your Google Drive. Can you give me a public download URL for it please?

Thank you for getting back to me on this. i think I have fixed the problem at this point. However, it's nice to know I can get help on problems like these from this forum! Thanks again for being willing to help.

No problem TR54, you're welcome. Glad to see that you were able to fix your issue :)
