[SOLVED] Corrupted Components hive ERROR_BADDB

Hi,

I'm attempting to finally fix my Windows 10 installation that has had a corrupted COMPONENTS hive for some time.

So far I've attempted to run DISM:

C:\Windows\system32>Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Error: 1009

The configuration registry database is corrupt.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

I noticed that the COMPONENTS folder is not present in my HKLM registry as well and attempted to load it but I receive:
Failed to load registry hive C:\Windows\System32\config\COMPONENTS into key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\COMPONENTS with error code ERROR_BADDB.

I've also attempted to update using Windows 10 iso but was met with a 0x800703f1 error.

Finally I've run SFCFix.exe from this site and I've uploaded the results that verify the COMPONENTS hive is corrupted.

If you haven't done so, then please follow this tutorial - How to check your COMPONENTS registry hive for corruption

Please allow the tool to make repairs if it prompts to do so.
