Hello,

I'm new to these forums. I found the SFCFix.exe tool to try and solve a corruption I found running the regular "sfc /scannow" command. I also tried this command: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth, but there are still errors.

Looks like I have a similar problem to the one in this thread: https://www.sysnative.com/forums/windows-update/10586-cbs-log-corrupted.html

These are the corrupt files found in the SFCFix.txt report:

AutoAnalysis::
CORRUPT: C:\Windows\winsxs\amd64_microsoft-windows-com-dtc-runtime_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_0a1162f033fa01f6\MSDTC.LOG
CORRUPT: C:\Windows\winsxs\wow64_microsoft-windows-com-dtc-runtime_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.16384_none_14660d42685ac3f1\MSDTC.LOG

I have uploaded the CSB.log file.

Does anyone know how to fix these errors?

Thanks in advance.

We sure do.

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

 1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
 2. Download SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
 3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
 4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
 5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
 6. SFCFix will now process the script.
 7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
 8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put

tags around the log to break up the text.

Your welcome :)

Let me know once you have ran a new scan with SFC /SCANNOW and uploaded a new CBS log. The results in this log are still from the previous scan :)

Hi kalamarano :)

I replied in your thread to assist you with this issue.

To avoid confusion in the future, I'll close this thread. I'll ask anyone who have the same kind of issue as Pluppo here to create a new thread in the Windows Update section to receive proper assistance.

Thank you :)
