Hi.
I have a Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit. My SFC scan turns out an "unable to fix some of them". SFCFix then shows up the following text file:

SFCFix version 3.0.0.0 by niemiro.
Start time: 2018-06-10 13:40:43.338
Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack 1 - amd64
Not using a script file.

AutoAnalysis::

Originally, the SURT was not corrupted at all (0 total detected corruptions). I ran "Windows6.1-KB947821-v34-x64.msu" and the SFCFix then showed about 96 Corruptions. I ran the same file again and am now down to 1 Corruption.
The auto-analysis has stayed the same throughout, though.

The jscript9.dll file gave an error when one application accessed it at C:\Windows\System32\jscript9.dll
I keep trying to replace the dll file using regsvr32 registration; but the version of it may be wrong. The only difference is that the application doesn't come up with an error, any more.
Thank you.

Hello and welcome!

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put

tags around the log to break up the text.

SFC Scan

  1. Click on the Start
    Start%20Orb.jpg
button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
  2. When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
  3. When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following commands into it, press enter after each

    sfc /scannow

Wait for this to finish before you continue

    copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log %userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt

  4. This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Please attach this to your next post.

This time SFC came back with:

Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired
them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For
example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log

Thank you, softwaremaniac.

Attached would have been the cbs.txt file you asked for; but I couldn't upload the original file, it was too big. I deleted all entries dating from before I contacted you, and uploaded it.
Sorry, if you need the original, I just don't now know how to upload it.
P.S. total SURT detected corruption is still 1

SFC returns:
