I used Minitools Partition Wizard to copy my Windows 11 C:\ partition to a new SSD. After copying it I tried to use the new drive by selecting the drive in the BIOS but it would just go to a blank screen for a second and then boot the old drive.

I knew Minitools said the copy was successful so I went into the Recovery Environment and formatted the old drive, but now I still can't boot the SSD Windows install I copied.

I've tried the "Startup Repair" option from the RE

I went ahead and reinstalled a fresh install of Windows on my OLD drive and it's what I'm using right now, but all my files and programs are still on the new drive. I thought this would have been a quick and easy thing to do.

I've tried using "sfc /scannow /offbootdir=H:\ /offwindir=H:\windows" H:\ is my new drive
It results in "Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation."

I tried multiple solutions involving bootrec:

bootrec /rebuildbcdit only finds the in installation of windows.I've also tried
bootrec /FixMbr
bootrec /FixBoot
bootrec /ScanOs

It was suggested in a discord group that my windows installation was faulted and I should try to run DISM

"dism /Image:H: /cleanup-image /restorehealth /scratchdir:H:\Temp /logpath:H:\" will get me a progress bar and after a few minutes it'll go to 100% with a failed message.

I've attached the dism.log I saved.

It shows
Total Detected Corruption: 8
2024-01-28 20:34:34, Info CBS CBS Manifest Corruption: 2
2024-01-28 20:34:34, Info CBS CBS Metadata Corruption: 6

and gets alot of CBS_E_SOURCE_MISSING when trying to resolve the problems.

Not sure if anyone could help guide me.

I had a similar problem booting to a new SSD with Windows 11 pre-installed.
I resolved it with a one line entry in Command using bcdboot.exe this gave me the dual boot option
Try entering the script below in Terminal Admin

bcdboot C:\Windows /s H:

Good luck!
