Constant restarts and unplanned shutdowns

This is for a client's PC that is used to run VMS software to manage security cameras. The reliability report shows it going on and off several times an hour, which of course is unacceptable.

  13. RAM (brand, EXACT model, what slots are you using?)
  14. Video Card
  15. MotherBoard - (if NOT a laptop)
  16. Power Supply - brand & wattage (if laptop, skip this one)
  17. Is driver verifier enabled or disabled?
  18. What security software are you using? (Firewall, antivirus, antimalware, antispyware, and so forth)
  19. Are you using proxy, vpn, ipfilters or similar software?
  20. Are you using Disk Image tools? (like daemon tools, alcohol 52% or 120%, virtual CloneDrive, roxio software)
  21. Are you currently under/overclocking? Are there overclocking software installed on your system?7.

Between 10/20 and 10/22 there were approximately 52 unexpected shutdowns and restarts.
These were BSOD with bugchecks:

There were also corrected hardware errors.

As xilolee commented most of the files were empty.

None of the mini dump files could be opened.



Please run the Sysnative log collector again to collect new data.


Tests can be provided to test the major hardware components.
