CONNECTED, BUT NO INTERNET.

hi , last month i ordered a wifi adapter for my pc and the adapter worked fine for the first 15 days but then i started experincing problems with my internet connection, when i tried to connect my wifi to my usual router the pc said " connected ,but no internet".I tried running the troubleshooter but nothing changed , I even reinstalled the driver for the wifi adapter but that did not fix the problem. I even reseted my network settings day before yesterday but nothing happened. {note : the router which i used to connect the pc had internet as it connected fine with my mobile and laptop}

I will be very obliged and gratefull if any one can help me resolve this problem

Hit start, type winver and hit enter. Tell me what version of Windows you have, please.

Also, if you haven't already, reboot the router and see if that helps. Also, check and see if there are firmware updates for the router.

The version of my windows is : VERSION 20H2(OS Build 19042.928)

i rebooted the router but the problem still persists.

Is your router supplied by your ISP or do you own it? If you own it, what brand is it?

My router is owned by me and the brand is exited

You should go to the support page of the router maker's site, for your model, and see if a firmware update is available. Check what version is currently running on yours by logging in to the router and checking that under whatever they have entitled the section (often System) where it's displayed. That should be documented in the owner's manual, and if you've lost your copy that should be available for download from the support page as well.
