"Configuration registry database is corrupt"

Hi im new to this site..

Recently im having a pretty big problem with my laptop, which is unable to update drivers..im using DriverEasy PRO 5.5.3 version software...it got no problems when downloading the drivers but when it was about to install them, it says "Configuration registry database is corrupt"..

I've run sfc/scannow and it detected some corrupted files, and so it repairs all of them smoothly..so i went to update it again, but surprisingly it didn't change anything..it still says "Configuration registry database is corrupt".

I've run out of ideas..pls help me, there are some major drivers need to be updated
 
Hi ggwp. :welcome:

Did you check if the same drivers are available for download on their manufacturer website?
And did you try to download and install those versions?
 
I tried it but gets another error...i think the drivers had messed up :/
Should i do a format on laptop?

This error pop up during updating drivers using DriverEasy Pro V 5.5.3..This is one of the drivers update..now all my usb ports can't detect any usb
