Hello!
My laptop running windows10 version 1607 cannot be updated further and I cannot restore it (error 0x8007001F-0x2000D at the end of all updates, err Migrate_data_op) trying all the fixes on the net and even if the windows troubleshooter fixes the 4 problems It simply does not accept any updates.

DISM generates error 1009 Configuration Registry Database Corrupt even if the source is a copy of windows on USB drive.
I tried Sfc or sfcFix, Cleanboot, Services restarted with a script, Chckdisk , viruses scan, new admin account, etc…

Seeing that you have solved a similar problems by replacing system32\config\COMPONENTS I think this would fix mine also but I need the components file that matches my Win10 version
or a way to repair the file. I have seen that loading an empty hive in the registry with a script could do the job but I don't want to make things worst in case of mistake.

In updates history I have KB3150513 5/11/2017
In Uninstall software only x64KB4480730 2.55.0.0 11/1/2020
Last version installed 1607 KB4023814 OS build 14393.1198 sec 170427-1353

Last sfc /scannow I got the Error: Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation and I could not resolve it.
Last sfcFix returned no error but the error is still there with DISM and no way to update to 1803, 1903, 20H2... .

Google drive links to the logs:
Components zipped File

CBS file zipped

Thanks

Hi!

Step 1 - Replace Components Hive Manually

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download COMPONENTS.ZIP and save to your desktop.
  2. Right-click on it and select Extract all.... Make sure the "Show extracted files when complete" is checked and click Extract.
  3. Now we have the COMPONENTS file that we will be using to replace your current one.
  4. Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\config
  5. Right-click on the current COMPONENTS file and select rename. Rename it to COMPONENTS.bad.
Note: If you get an error that the file is in use, reboot your computer and then try again.
  6. Take the file from the Components folder on your desktop and paste it into C:\Windows\System32\config

Hi!
Thanks very much for the components file, I replaced the existing and I will try again to install the update...
