Hi there!

I have never seen this issue before in my life and none of my usual fixes are working.

Tons of missing drivers and I have found a lot of issues... but I think the root of the issues is this:

C:\Windows\System32>pnputil /enum-drivers
Microsoft PnP Utility

Failed to enumerate driver packages: The configuration registry database is corrupt.

Would love to try and fix this but I am making a painfully slow 100 GB backup over WiFi since that is the only driver thats working... and because of Optane memory I can't even make an out of system backup.

THANK YOU!

Hi and welcome to Sysnative,

Step 1. Please follow the Windows Update Forum Posting Instructions and provide the requested files in your next post

Step 2. Upload your DRIVERS Hive
  • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\config and locate the DRIVERS file.
  • Please copy this file to your desktop.
  • Note: If you receive an error that this file is in-use, simply reboot your computer and try again.
  • Right-click on this file on your desktop and select Send To > Compressed (zipped) folder. This will create a file named DRIVERS.ZIP on your desktop.
  • If the file is too large to upload here, upload the file to www.wetransfer.com and post the link in your next reply.
