Hello,
first of all: Thank you guys for your help and the great work you do on this forum! I found this board recently and already got a glimpse on what you did to mankinds IT - stunning!
Concerning my problem: I have few windows servers and clients on which i use server-eye rmm. Due to a failure in their software they accidently deleted the components hive or better everything under C:\windows\system32\config what is able to be deleted..
The problems this entails are imaginable i think.. No more updates, no more driver updates, no more feature activations etc. etc. etc.
Of course i would post any log but sfc neither dism are working any more due to this situation..
My Question is:
1. Can this be undone / repaired if i have backups of this folder?
- if yes whats the recommended way?
2. If this can not be recovered via backup - is there any other way to avoid reinstallation of the production servers.. - some of the servers have software installed, that cannot be simply saved and restored after reinstallation..
Thank you for your support ! You are indeed my last hope. I already searched 2 weekends and many hours for any possible solutions..
Greetings
