Components Hive Corrupted

Hi All

Long time reader first time poster.

Trying to update window 10 to 1903 but kept failing.

Ran sfc /scanow now

C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.


Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation.

Ran Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

C:\WINDOWS\system32>Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

Error: 1009

The configuration registry database is corrupt.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

After some digging i noticed i have no COMPONENTS in my registry tried to load manually and it failed.

COMPONENT hive is too large to upload so have placed in my Google drive

Unfortunately, your hive is too corrupt to be fixed. You will need to reinstall the OS.
