Dear all,

I am trying to install a virtual printer by using PDF convertor.

The program will install but then I get error Code 0x0000070D and no virtual printer is installed.

My system is Win 7 Pro with 8 GB RAM

core i5

Please can anyone help?

thank you,

Girish

I'm not sure you can install driver/software with a PDF. A PDF is a document file that converts the text into useable/editable form.

What virtual printer are you trying to install? What driver/software package are you using?

Hello Bassfisher,

I am trying to install PDF convertor elite.

On my friends laptop, they can use the software no fuss and their system have the same specs as mine. they also run win 7 pro 64

here is the link to the website: Create, Edit and Convert PDF files to Word, Excel, Powerpoint | PDFConverter.com

I even tried to install Nitro :Convert PDFs to Word & Excel | Nitro Pro 9

When you install the program, it install a virtual printer. This printer allows me to for example open two documents and merger them.

Thank you again for helping.

Looking through the documentation of the first link you provided, I can't find anything telling me about a virtual printer being installed.

In order to print, print anything an actual physical printer has to be installed.

BullZip Free PDF printer is another PDF creater that would be a good choice.

It does create a virtual BullZip PDF printer in devices and you just choose the BullZip printer to create a pdf from any program.

Just another free choice...that works very well.

Hello,

I am enclosing a picture so that you can see the picture of the 'Print' screen.

Under Print in Excel where you can choose the Printer, a PDF Convertor appears same as for example

a Xerox or HP printer.

I have attached a print screen from a colleague's laptop.

Thanks

Girish

Hello,

I tried PDF Converter Elite 3 (the newest one).

This one seems to work.

I'll buy it then.

Thank you all for your kind help.

Glad you found something that works well for you.

PDF Converter Elite 3
yes, comes with a trial which is nice. I would definitely get it from their own site rather than some of the download sites though so you don't get hit more crapware in the process even though you intend to buy at $99.
