Let me clarify,
1-There is a pc running w10 pro from hdd.
2-I turn off pc , add a ssd and directly clone the hdd to ssd and remove hdd , and try to boot from ssd and it fails.
3-Then I format ssd and install a new windows on it , it works fine.
4-I put the hdd back and boot from hdd (both hdd and ssd are connected to pc)
5- I do not see the ssd as a drive.
I understand that the problem is within the windows installed on the hdd, that is why after cloning the windows can not boot from ssd.
It never saw the ssd in the first place, it can not recognize the ssd as a drive.
6- When I boot from a hiren boot cd or any winpe boot disk, I can see all drives in the pc.
The problem is within the windows installed in hdd.
If we can fix it, it will keep working after cloning to ssd.
I hope this helps.
