Most payloads I can resolve.
I followed the MS docs and place the missing manifest files into %windir%\Temp\CheckSUR\manifests.
But I don't think CheckSUR is doing anything with them?
In this particular case, the payload files and location are not on other nearby PCs, which makes it a bit more difficult.

Any help appreciated.
Attached is the current CheckSUR.log file.
Running on Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit with 8Gb RAM.

Thanks,
Loren

Hello and welcome

Due to the precise nature of your corruption, you will receive help from a user named LiquidTension. He's one of our senior trainees here who's in his final phrase of his studies and needs to gain some real world experience in specific areas of Windows Update. This means that he'll be assisting you, but that I will first need to double check and approve his fixes before he posts them to you. If anything this is a good thing for you because it means that you've got at least two of us watching over your thread, but it will unfortunately add a slight delay between each reply. I hope that you understand and can accept the need for us to train up new members in this way in order to carry on doing what we do here, however, if for any reason you object to this setup, I will happily take on your thread myself.

Thank you very much for your understanding. We'll be with you very shortly.

Always happy to help in a learning experience. The target PC is in use during the day so no problem.

Something came up so I will be assisting you with this one. Please do the following.

Step#1 - Fix Corrupt/Missing Files
Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.
  1. Please download the attached file, Packs.zip and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Right-click on the file and select Extract All...
  3. Tick the box labelled Show extracted files when complete then click Extract
  4. A window will open showing a folder named, Manifests
  5. Open the Manifests folder and copy the files into the following folder (if there are any files). If the Manifests folder doesn't exist within Winsxs you will need to create it.
    C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests
  6. Run the System Update Readiness Tool (SURT) again.
  7. When the SURT finishes installing, zip up and attach the following log file:
    C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log

Looking good so far I'd say. I will run Windows Update again (14 Important, 2 optional).
If things go awry, should I remain on this post, or, start a new one?

When is it beneficial to run the Windows Update diagcab?
After the CheckSUR run, I also ran diagcab and did get an error in diagcab.
Any particular order I should run these two so I don't confuse results?

Thanks a bunch.

It's not inaccurate, it's just not very clear. The following directories should be used. I'm glad all is well. Take care.

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages
C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Winsxs\Manifests
