Changed battery in PC and need to review other steps

Hello,
I a few days back got a battery low voltage message at start up on a used Optiplex 755 loaded with Win 10 pro 64 bit and so whipped out a 2032 and changed the battery, this is what I did and need help to review the setup:

Close PC, unplug PC, Change battery, plug PC, boot up but get 3 green lights front of tower, look that up in manual and it’s not good

Find an article in Dell Community and try it
RE: Low system battery voltage
* Turn the system off
* Remove the power cord from the back of the system
* Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds and release
* Plug the power cord in and power up
* Press the F2 key to enter System Setup
* Open Highlight Maintenance
* Open Load Defaults
* Choose Continue
* Open Event Log
* Clear the log
* Press the Esc key twice to restart

Problem with this is the system will not boot past windows, (maybe I did it wrong?) even Win 10 tries to repair but will not work, gives error inaccessible boot device, I try a restart in F2 and at SATA Operations change it to ATA and restart and it worked.

The default is supposed to be ACHI and there is also another choice Legacy, but ATA is working fine since days.

So (wiping sweat off forehead) do I just leave it at ATA or must it be sent back to ACHI but how as it will not work there. There’s always Legacy that I did not try yet OR just leave it at ATA.

Thanks.
