Change Win 8 Lock Screen (the screen you get with you use WIN + L to "lock")
HOW TO CHANGE THE LOCK SCREEN IN WIN 8
START screen | Click on your Name or Account picture (top-right) |
Choose Change Account Picture | Lock screen (above your account picture) |
Browse (unless you want one of the supplied lock screens) |
Navigate to the desired picture. Win 8 will fit the picture to your display resolution. |
click on desired picture | Choose picture button
The upper limit on picture size in terms of number of bytes is more tolerant than with Win 7. I do not know the upper limit.
You will notice that Start | click on Name |
Gives you the option to change your Account Picture and the Start Screen.
