CHANGE PRODUCT KEY, ACTIVATE WIN 8, ACTIVATION PHONE NUMBER

The same procedure as is available in Win 7 also works in Win 8.

WIN + R | type SLUI 3 | ENTER

This will bring up a dialog for you to enter your 25 character product key and to activate your Win 8.

Use WIN + R | type SLUI 4 | ENTER
Select your country and you will be presented with the number to call to activate Win 8 over the phone.

You can also check your activation status and activate Win 8 as follows:
WIN + PAUSE | click appropriately in the Windows Activation section
