CBS Log Error-- Need Help!

Good evening friends!

I have been trying to figure out a fix to a problem in my ability to enable file sharing through WMP, and so here I was led. Essentially, I am unable to enable my file sharing, the selections I make just don't seem to save. After many tries to diagnose the problem, I came across a few posts about CBS Log errors and so I started a scan. I am not sure if the reported error is directly linked to my initial problem, but I thought it couldn't hurt to have this addressed as well.

Part 1

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
2. Download the file below, SFCFix.txt, and save this to your Desktop.
3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.txt.
5. Drag the file SFCFix.txt onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
6. SFCFix will now process the script.
7. Upon completion, a file and a folder should be created on your Desktop, titled SFCFix.txt and Tekno_Venus respectively.
8. Copy (Ctrl + C) and Paste (Ctrl + V) the contents of the SFCFix.txt file into your next post for me to analyse please - put [CODE][/CODE] tags around the log to break up the text. Then zip up and attach the Tekno_Venus folder to the post for me to look at please.
