Can't rest windows 10 or access settings

Ran dism /online /cleanup-image /restore health got Error: 87 , I'm not able to access settings or connect to internet will not allow me to run reset through admin cmd any advice what could work ? Also have no disk or USB backup ?

I mean can not Reset
 
Hi @Jayyjay

That error usually means you entered a parameter incorrectly.

Make sure you open the command prompt with Administrator privileges by clicking Start, type cmd, then CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER.

An elevated command prompt should open. in this prompt copy and paste this DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth into it and hit enter.

Once that's done, in the same command prompt type sfc /scannow and enter.

Hello, thank you I did exactly as you said and it says "Windows Resource could not start the repair service" after the st/scannow ?
 
  1. Select Start, and type CMD.
  2. Right-click Command Prompt; then, choose Run as administrator.
  3. If prompted, enter a username and password that grants admin rights to the computer.
  4. Type sc config trustedinstaller start= auto; then, press Enter. You should get a SUCCESS message.
  5. Next, type net start trustedinstaller; then, press Enter. You should receive a message that the service was started.
  6. Try the sfc /scannow command again.

Check that your PC timezone is set to your actual timezone. If it's not, please correct it then try the above again. Have you rebooted since trying the above commands? If not, do so, please.

If you can, copy and paste this into an elevated command prompt. If it works, it will open notepad, copy and paste the contents of that notepad in your next reply, please.

Timezone can't change cause can't get in settings at all it is off though and did reboot can't access internet either would have type that in see what get then can screenshot from phone when get chance thanks for help post it when I get it done
