Hi guys.
I've been reading a lot about getting rid of problems with last Microsoft patches and I tried everything with no luck.
Eventually, I found this thread on Microsof community where a member says Sysnative is the only one where somebody is able to help.

Then I would really be grateful if somebody would give me a hint.

My OS is Windows 7 Pro x64.
Initially, I've been struggling with KB4462923. Unable to install because of some error. Then I hid it because I was not using my pc for a while and then I wondered if previous month update had been installed or not. This way, previous update appeared on the available Windows Update dowloads. However, even that one didn't install.
Right now, no security updates are listed anymore (except optional ones, wich I never installed). The only update I installed after the issue is the Visual C++ 2008 one.

I ran scandisk, SFC, SURT because I read here what you usually recommend. Scandisk and SFC seem to say there is no files corruption. I can see lots of warnings in SURT log but honestly I cannot solve them myself.
I've uploaded SURT and CBS logs here: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AgMbnBJhjY8Oi1yktSk_AxP7qiPX

Thank you

I was forgetting: I also tried a system restore after having problems with KB4462923. But I got an error there too, saying the restore was not able to replace all files...

Hello and welcome!

Please start with the following:

SFCFix Script

Warning: this fix is specific to the user in this thread. No one else should follow these instructions as it may cause more harm than good. If you are after assistance, please start a thread of your own.

  1. Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro) and save this to your Desktop.
  2. Download the file below, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
  3. Save any open documents and close all open windows.
  4. On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
  5. Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.
  6. SFCFix will now process the script.
  7. Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
  8. Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of this file into your next post for me to analyse please - put
    Code:
tags around the log to break up the text.

Dropbox - SFCFix.zip
