Can't install cumulative update 2020-12 KB4592438

Hi,

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.19042.488]

I have spent the day trying to solve the my W10 update problem. Tried many different fixes, and I still can't install the only pending update (KB4592438), below what I tried:
  1. Download and install KB4592438 manually, failed.
  2. SFC scan fails at 19% because it found corrupt files.
  3. Tried restoring it with DISM, it asked for sources, so I downloaded the ISO, learned how to convert ESD into WIM (tried with DISM :ESD and didn't work as well), then tried the "dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:wim:E:\sources\install.wim:1 /LimitAccess" which finally didn't give me a source error and completed 100% successful, however, issue still there and SFC scan still fails at 19%.
  4. Tried to remove (I actually just renamed it) the "Distribution..." folder, sorry I forgot which article that was and can't find the tab now (I have 50 tabs of this issue opened o_O)
  5. Tried DISM component cleanup.
  6. Tried reinstalling .NET 3.5 via DISM feature.
  7. Cleared all CBS logs to start fresh and tried to understand the CBS.log, it has only a few lines of error but I still was unable to understand what kind of package/file was required.
  8. I tried to do an in-place upgrade but when it prepares everything, the option to proceed keeping personal files is greyed out, the only option is to do a clean one, which I understand is the same as formatting my drive and installing a fresh copy, which I don't want it since I did it 2 months ago and just got everything nicely installed, configured and have work software.
  9. I followed the instructions from the pinned topic and ran your tool, but it seems like it just ran a dism at the end, which completed successfully and nothing else, it looks like the tool is stuck after that running for almost an hour on Stage 3 (I left it running just in case, still going).

Any advice would be much appreciated, I rarely post on forums for help because nowadays there's so much information, but it looks like my errors are very specific, so I think I need some direction to move forward.

Anyone? Have spent another day trying to solve this, looking at BCDEdit but it seem to be the way, anyone could read the few error lines and give some indication please?
