Hi there so recently I tried upgrading to win10 via their free upgrade if you have win7/8
i ran into error 0x80070020
I tried using their mediacreationtool and then ran into the same error.
Upon checking my win update it said i had to restart to install important updates however no matter how many times i restart it will not update.
I also tried using sfc /scannow and it told me repairs were pending.
also tried using DISM /image:C:\ /cleanup-image /revertpendingactions
and it gave me error:87.

Please help

Hello and welcome to Sysnative!

FRST Fix
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Download attached file and save it to the Desktop.
Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.
6. Let me know if the reboot prompt is now gone.

3. Copy/Paste the following into the command-prompt window and hit enter.
reg query HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate /s >1.txt && notepad 1.txt

4. Notepad will open showing the WU info. Can you copy and paste this into your next reply?

1. Download the Media Creation Tool and save this to your desktop. Go ahead and run this as well. Note: Click the Download tool now button when you get to this link.
2. Accept the License Agreement
3. Download the ISO file to your desktop.
4. Double-click on the ISO and then run the setup to try and upgrade your machine.

We want to get the ISO so that you don't have to keep downloading which can take hours.

As far as i know the only drivers that wouldnt be up to date would be my graphics card, however I just check windows update, and the failed driver that windows keeps trying to install is.
