I've been to all sorts of forums and support pages but recently I've found an old thread on hear which decribes and solves the issue I'm having. This is the thread I'm talking about [SOLVED] - Windows sp1 update x64 not installing error codes: 800B0100 and 80246007 It's not the exact issue but I'm pretty sure my problem is with corrupted system file.
