Cannot uninstall update kb: 3000850 please help?

I've been trying to play a certain MMO however it shuts down every time I run it. My friend uninstalled an update KB:3000850 and his game working however when I click on it, there is no uninstall option.
I tried running it through CMD command but I get this error message
Windows update Standalone Installer: Update for Microsoft (kb:3000850) is required by your computer and cannot be uninstalled.
I know that this update is the issue because everyone that plays this game were able to uninstall it. Is there anyway to force it?

Hello and welcome to the forum :)

You know this update is for Windows 8.1 right? I wouldn't recommend uninstalling from all the security upgrades this patch made, this could be one of the reasons why the MMO doesnt work. I would recommend that you report this to developers of the MMO so they can fix their game correctly.

If you insist what command where you trying to run from CMD?
