I've been working on this for 6 months and I just cannot fix it. The computer seems to run OK but it keeps locking up once in a while.

Post a screenshot of the script blocked message.

Never seen that.
Did you move the file SFCFix.exe to your desktop ?
Are you sure you downloaded the attachment in message #2 and saved it on your desktop ?
What antivirus/security program do you use ?

Edit: did you perhaps drag and drop an existing SFCFIX log file again onto SFCFix.exe ?

I've got the sfcfix.exe file I added sfcfix.txt file. I could not find the sfcfix, zip file. It can't be downloaded.

I've tried every trick in the book to fix this. the CBS log shows Host is bad and I fixed it however it still comes up not fixed. Also the log states it cannot find the computer name nor the domain name. It also keeps referring to a corrupt winsock. When I first looked for help I followed the forum instructions of zipping the CBS log and sending it.

Lets review what is not clear in message #2. I have numbered all 7 lines below for you to perform.
Please read them carefully and tell me what is unclear so I can explain it in more detail.

It says to download sfcfix.zip. I do not know where to download sfcfix.zip. it is easy to download SFCFix but not the zip.

Well done.
Restart the computer.
Open an elevated command prompt.
Copy and paste the following command into it then press enter.

Code:
sfc /scannow
Wait for this to finish before you continue.
When completed paste a screenshot of the result into your next reply.

Open an elevated command prompt.
Copy and paste the following command into it, then press enter.

Code:
copy %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log "%userprofile%\Desktop\cbs.txt"
This will create a file, cbs.txt on your Desktop. Zip this file and attach the zipped cbs.txt to your next post.
