[SOLVED] Cannot install KB 3071756 (and therefore Windows 10 upgrade impossible)

I'm running Windows 7 32 bit professional edition, and cannot install a security fix (KB 3071756) error 8007007a


SFCfix log seems clear :

Not using a script file.

I've tried Microsoft fixit and the SURT tool. Still cannot install the troublesome update, even as a manually downloaded file.
Any help would be gratefully received.

Sorry, I noticed I failed to attach the CBS.zip file properly.

Problem solved. I had to download another Microsoft Fixit tool (50202.msi) which, when run in agressive mode appears to have finally fixed the problem.

Now to attempt the Windows 10 installation...
