I think this issue is related to https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...0-update-including-dism-error-0x800f081f.html and https://www.sysnative.com/forums/wi...0-migration-8-1-pro.html?highlight=0x800f081f but they both say to start a new thread as the files in those threads might not be right for me

Could someone please provide the correct SFCFix.zip for me?

My Windows 10 system cannot create a system image.

When I run sfc /scannow it seems to have this issue
Cannot repair member file [l:106{53}]"MicrosoftEdgeSquare44x44.scale-125_contrast-white.png" of Microsoft-Windows-MicrosoftEdge, Version = 10.0.10240.16463, pA = amd64, nonSxS, PublicKeyToken = {l:8 b:31bf3856ad364e35} in the store, hash mismatch

When I run
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
I get this result ...

Hi josephrenzi :)

My name is Aura and I'll be assisting you with your issue. I think I know why DISM is giving you that error message, it's because it cannot fix the file you listed above, but we'll run a new scan with DISM and grab the logs to make sure. Also, this corrupt file shouldn't affect your ability to create a system image, so I doubt that the two are related.

DISM - Fixing Component Store Corruption
Follow the instructions below to run a DISM scan on your system:
  • On Windows 8, drag your cursor in the bottom-left corner, and right-click on the metro menu preview, then select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • On Windows 8.1, right click on the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner and select Command Prompt (Admin);
  • Enter the command DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and press on Enter;
  • Let the scan run until the end (100%);
  • Copy the C:\Windows\Logs\DISM folder and C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log file on your Desktop, then right-click on it, go to Send to... and select Compressed .zip archive;
  • Upload the file on Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive and post the download URL for it here;
Note: Please note that the CBS.log is volatile, which means that if you don't upload it after the DISM scan is completed, it won't contains the information from the scan anymore. So archive it and upload it as soon as you can.

Apparently I need your permission to download this file. Is it possible to give me a download URL for it without that condition? :)
