Can Somebody help Me?

Hello I just had a virus from sweetpacks and i'm not sure if it's completely uninstalled off my machine, my internet explorer and google chrome are no longer redirecting me straight to sweetpacks like they used to, just normal google but whenever i go straight to google this link appears Google and i've only just noticed the ?gws_rd=cr today, is this a virus? i've run Malware Bytes on my computer and it came up with Sweet.IM and some other stuff which I uninstalled... I also run a programme called APW i think it was which made me restart my computer saying it found things and it was deleted, I'm not sure if the virus is fully gone.

The ?gws_rd=cr in the URL is normal and nothing to worry about. There may be a couple of small issues still present with your computer, but from your description there should be nothing too serious.

Do you know of any good free computer checkers for checking for viruses etc.?

The best virus removal tool generally depends on what infection you have - some are better at removing specific types than others, and there is a wide mixture. If you post up the DDS logs, we can take a detailed look at your computer for any remaining virus issues.

In general terms, MBAM is a great tool - but you've already run that one. Most likely there will just be a couple of extra settings that need to be fixed which won't usually be picked up by a malware tool. Fortunately SweetPack is fairly simple to remove, and you've more than likely already taken out the bulk of the program.
