What did he do to get himself booted? Well, our city has a public transport system (the TTC) which is sometimes used for its buses as a form of shelter for people who need to vacate their homes temporarily, such as for a fire. However, in rare occasions the buses are used to transport people in an emergency - this had only been used ONCE to evacuate a neighbourhood. Our great Rob Ford decided that'd be an excellent way to get his youth football team home from the game (or was it to the game? I forgot now) Of course, I'm sure you all know that abusing an emergency service is NOT okay. Which, thankfully, our Supreme Court knows. We now face a possible byelection which can run into the five-digit range or city council appoints a successor which would be logical, cheap, but we may get someone we don't want / a poor new Mayor. Has a Mayor / other big political member in your area ever been ousted?
