Hi guys,

For quite some time now I am experiencing bsods with almost every game I play (the only I could think of that doens't is LoL).
Usually these bsods have all kind of different messages so far I've got (not complete):
APC_INDEX_MISMATCH,
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL,
BAD_POOL_HEADER
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

ATTEMPT TO WRITE AT READONLY MEMORY
...

Usually when I check the dmp files coming with the bsod I never a get a driver attached, always pointing at ntoskrnl.exe. The times I did get a driver it was:
tcpip.sys & L1C63x64.sys

dxgmms2.sys

I have tried a couple of things:
Memtest ran for a couple of times and I got errors -> bought new 8gb ram stick but no avail
Installed windows again
Checked my bios settings (but I am a total noob regarding this)
Checked different driver update programs to catch some which required updating
Ran verifier

I have attached the Sysnative file results

Many thanks

Hello!

Please update your Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller driver from the official website as this one dates back to 2013.

Are you using AMD OverDrive?

What are the temps while gaming?

Has the PC been cleaned of dust?

Hi softwaremaniac,

Sorry for not including a newer minidump file as I have already downloaded the newest update of Qualcomm Atheros AR8151 but it sadly didn't bring any improvement (v 2.1.0.27).
I will upload a new .dmp file as soon as I get one (they get deleted in the folder, dont know why). For the moment I am playing overwatch and there are no bsods, just freezes (even more cumbersome).

I am not using amd overdrive

I am running furmark for a solid 15 mins and my max temp is 81 which I deem not that high.

I cleaned it today again, didnt help though... I am running it without any side shields to the case so it is quite open.

Thanks already!

Please do the following:

GSmartControl
Follow the instructions below to test your hard drive health with GSmartControl:

 • Download GSmartControl and save it on your Desktop;
 • Execute gsmartcontrol.exe; Let the install complete and launch the programme.
 • Identify your drive in the list, and double-click on it to bring up it's window (usually you'll find your drive by it's size or it's brand name);
 • Go in the Perform Tests tab, then select Extended Self-test in the Test type drop-down list and click on Execute (this test can take a few hours to complete);
 • Once the test is over, the results will be displayed at the bottom of the window. Please copy and paste these results in your next reply;
 • Also, go in the Attributes tab and if you have any entries highlighted in red or pink, take a screenshot of the GSmartControl window and attach it in your next reply;

Maybe worth noting, sometimes my games don't bsod but I get a notification that an unexpected error occured. Closing the game immediately.

A larger dump would help. Looks like a stack overflow, it might have exhausted memory. I can't check with a minidump.

How do I go on and do this? Try again with memtest? The new ram is probably still in warranty but it would seem odd to me as I have extensively tested the two previous sticks and still got crashes either which slot...
How can I get a larger dump?

Thx guys
