Hi i'm currently running Memtest 86 and to do so I changed the boot sequence, i'm quiet new to this so I would like to ask how can I reset the boot sequence to default, would clearing the CMOS do it?

Also could you explain what you mean by 3 different times, do you mean until pass 3 or 3x pass 1?

Hi Theoretical. :welcome:

GA-Z97-HD3 rev 1, 2 or 2.1?

Did you seat the two sticks in ddr3_1 and ddr3_2 ?
I.e., in the grey slots?
(2nd slot and 4th slot, starting from the cpu)

Are you doing overclocking?
Try to remove msi afterburner, then go to the bios settings, select load optimized defaults and save the settings.
There's also a newer bios (F9, I wouldn't use the BETA version F10c).

Hi its GA Z97 HD3 rev 2, the RAM is seated in slots 2 and 4 and I have intentions of overclocking.

I'm also not too sure how to update to F9

Did you remove msi afterburner (and gigabyte easytune, if present)?
Did you load optimized defaults?
Did you remove carefully and gently the dust from your motherboard and its components?
Did you try to re-seat all the components and cables (after the cleaning)?
Did you try to move the sticks in DDR3_3 and DDR3_4 (the black slots)?

Try those things before thinking to update the bios.
