Hi,

I've been getting BSOD while using qBittorent, and only when downloading.

I've tried the "unistall/reinstall of Teredo Tunneling Adapter" and even running qBittorrent with Teredo disabled, and still get BSOD. Not always, but after a "while" it tends to happen again so I'm hoping I can get some help here.

· OS - Windows 7
· x86 64-bit
· What was original installed OS on system? Windows 7
· OEM version (came pre-installed on system)
· Age of system (hardware) - around 3 years
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? No

· CPU - i7-4700MQ
· Video Card - GTX 780M

· System Manufacturer - Shenker Technologies
· Exact model number - XMG-P703? not sure this is what is asked for

· Laptop

Hi Aster1on - Pedro. :welcome:

  • If you have got your laptop cd drivers, check if it contains "Qualcomm Atheros Bandwidth Control Filter Driver" and/or "Network Manager" (just in case you need to reinstall it).
  • Create a system restore point
  • Create (an updated) system image with your preferred tool.
  • Uninstall msi afterburner
  • Reboot
  • If that didn't help, uninstall also "Qualcomm Atheros Bandwidth Control Filter Driver" and/or "Network Manager" from control panel, programs, uninstall.
  • Reboot

Thanks for your reply xilolee.

I'll have to go through these steps on the weekend with a bit more time in my hands.

I don't think the laptop came with cd drivers (can't remember, but i'll look it up), in the meantime on the manufactures site i found these downloadable drivers (see picture). I don't see the drivers you mention in it, but I'm not sure if these are "packs" of drivers that might have them.

I'm guessing the restore point and system image are a safety "just in case" measure right?
I think i should be "safe" to uninstall msi afterburner as I installed it for the monitoring aspect of it, but I'll follow your advice.

Thanks, will report back!

Ok.

If you think this thread is solved, you can mark it as solved through thread tools - mark this thread as solved.
It's a drop-down menu in the first post of yours in this thread, at top-right corner (of your post) on the left side of search thread and display.

Ok,

Installed the update and I'm testing it. Will keep testing through the week and if I get no BSODs I'll mark the thread as solved.

Once again, thank you for all your help Xilolee!

I might be a bit blind, but I can't see how to edit my previous post!

Anyway, been testing qBittorrent for the last week and haven't had any BSODs, so I'm marking the thread as solved.

Once again, thanks for your help Xilolee.
