Hi there. I just changed my hard drive from 160GB to 500GB. After installing the OS and antivirus and some updates, I installed this game. The problem is whenever I open 2 applications at the same time, a BSOD always appears. I hope you can assist me with my problem as I have no idea whatsoever about what to do about this. Thank you.

Welcome :)

I haven't looked at the file but many online games have an anti-cheat system to prevent the use of 2 games running simultaneously on the same PC.

Thanks. :D

In this game, you can do it just fine. It was working fine when I was still using my 160GB hard drive. The recent change in my hard drive is really what's getting me baffled as to why I am experiencing this now.

Hi -

you need to install Windows 7 SP1 - http://support.microsoft.com/sp

Hi -

You have a 2009 version ESET installed; Realtek drivers need to be updated as well -
Code:
[font=lucida console]
eamon.sys Fri Feb 06 08:14:21 2009 (498C37AD) - ESET
ehdrv.sys Fri Feb 06 08:15:01 2009 (498C37D5) - ESET
epfwwfpr.sys Fri Feb 06 08:06:19 2009 (498C35CB) - ESET

RTKVHDA.sys Tue Jan 20 01:10:46 2009 (49756AE6) - Realtek HD Audio
Rt86win7.sys Thu Feb 26 04:04:22 2009 (49A65B16) - Realtek Ethernet
[/font]

http://sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=Rt86win7.sys
http://sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=eamon.sys
http://sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=ehdrv.sys
http://sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=epfwwfpr.sys

Remove ESET with the removal tool - http://kb.eset.com/esetkb/index?page=content&id=SOLN146

Reboot upon completion.

If you have an ESET keycode - http://www.eset.com/us/download/home/

Otherwise, Install Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE)

Thank you. I can now play 2 clients at the same time again. Unfortunately, one problem again arose. I cannot install eset 5 nor bittorent now. Whenever I try to install those, it fails and a BSOD regarding cdd.dll appears. Thanks again for your hard work.View attachment Documents.rar

Hi,

The most recent attached dumps are all *7e bugchecks or *50, all pointing to cdd.dll or instances of ntoskrnl.exe. In the latest attached dump file (Debug session time: Sat Jun 23 14:37:40.110 2012 (UTC - 4:00), ESET is still installed as the following drivers are still listed and loaded as of this crash dump:

Code:
[FONT=lucida console]eamon.sys    Fri Feb 06 08:14:21 2009 (498C37AD) - ESET ehdrv.sys    Fri Feb 06 08:15:01 2009 (498C37D5) - ESET epfwwfpr.sys Fri Feb 06 08:06:19 2009 (498C35CB) - ESET[/FONT]
As jcgriff2 has mentioned earlier, please use the ESET removal tool to safely and correctly remove ESET. You can temporarily replace ESET with MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials) if you wish.

Is the video new?

You have AMD processor & NVIDIA video -
Code:
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 6000+ (2 CPUs), ~3.0GHz

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430

I bought the video card around 7 months ago. Then, I just updated the driver a few days ago.

I'm going to have to ask a hardware expert about this.

I know AMD & NVIDIA don't always play nice together.

A Nvidia card on a ATI board is Ok, I would D/L Memtest+ burn it to a CD using a free program like Imgburn if you need one then boot from the CD to test the ram, let it run for at least 6 passes or until you see an error.

Sorry for the really late reply. I did the memtest 3 times and the results were 3 passes, 2 passes, and 3 passes. I had to do a system restore after doing those 3 tests. What does it mean if none of my tries reached 6 passes?

Hi -

Did you run the CD bootable memtest86+ as Wrench97 instructed?

It is DOS-based - Windows does not load, so System Restore would not come into play at all.

You should run memtest86+ one stick at a time & alternate the slots.

Regards. . .

jcgriff2

Hello there. Yes, I booted from the CD as instructed and that DOS-based program appeared. I used system restore after running the memtest thrice because windows could not load after and a BSOD appears which disappears fast which makes me unable to see what caused the error whenever I restart my PC. As I mentioned, I did it thrice and it had passes of 3,2,3 respectively. What should I do now?

Is there a new dump file --> \windows\minidump

If so, please zip it up & attach to your next post.

Regards. . .

jcgriff2

I redid the memtest once just now. I needed to do a system restore again by launching the fix startup as a BSOD always appears once I choose to start windows normally after the restarting the computer right after getting the error on the memtest. But this time, I was able to copy the cause of the BSOD which is as follows:

STOP: 0x0000050 (0x8700F7AC, 0x00000000, 0x8606F452, 0x00000000)

WimFsf.sys - Address 8606F452 base at 8696D000, DateStamp 4a6bc0a6

I would like to apologize for having misunderstood the instruction given. It seems that I was using the usb installer of the memtest instead of the .iso one. I have finished doing the real memtest which I think is the correct one. I run it just once this time. The result was 2 passes and had 10 errors on the third cycle. Does this mean that I have to change my ram to a new one? I have attached the latest dump files I have after doing the memtestView attachment Documents.rar. Thank you for your support.
