I get the BSOD from time to time while playing and I also get pops and cracks in my audio also.
I have updated just about everything that I could, my BIOS has been updated to 208 (it was 207 out of box and my laptop's manufacture had a BIOS update for 206 only if that makes any sense...but I was able to update it with the auto update tool from ASUS)
Still having issues..so...

· OS - Windows 10
· x64
· Win8
· pre-installed till the update rolled in
· about 7 months old
· Never reinstalled and the update was a few months ago..

· CPU AMD A10 7400P 2.5ghz
· Video Card Radeon R6
· MotherBoard - Laptop
· Power Supply - N/A

· System Manufacturer
· ASUS X550ZA

· Laptop

For what ever reason I cannot generate a report using perfmon /report in my admin CMD prompt. It just stays at "Collecting Data for 60 seconds" and that's it. It's been running now for about an hour and still nothing, tho it is still responding just fine, as I can go to the File tab (all greyed out but the exit tab) and the Help tab.

Tho I am able to upload the other zip file, so I guess that's something....ugh..

Thank You

J

Hi amebix,

Don't worry about the perfmon report, this can happen when WERCON errors are of a substantial quantity. Was this issue occurring before you upgraded to Windows 10? Did you ever completely re-install your video drivers? There's only one minidump to analyze in your file collection, and it is a 100000EA bugcheck, which would suggest it's likely either your video driver, or the APU hardware itself.

I would suggest downloading the latest R6 video drivers from AMD's site, and to download Wagnard's DDU utility. Once both are downloaded, uninstall the AMD video drivers from Add/Remove Programs, reboot into Safe Mode and run DDU, choose to uninstall AMD drivers and restart (the recommended option), and then install the new AMD drivers. If you're not sure how to get into Safe Mode, you can run DDU and it will prompt you to reboot into Safe Mode.

Hi,

beside Xer i found additional Info or mismatching while squeezing the dump

if this is your laptop

X550ZA | Notebooks | ASUS Global

which offered a bios V. 204 as the latest release
where did you get Version 208 from?

a slight info within the dump
>>> Update Status = REG_SZ Newer Patch Not Available"
for CPU means , not fully supported, thus wrong Bios or Chipset (seen similar on HP Machines)
with proper Chipset i might remember
storahci.sys for SATA Drives is not flagged as MS-Driver but AMD

at the current situation i've no other cure unless more info is given.

Going deeper in the dump is not possible because only stack & Thread-info is captured, but a spinlock may began on an other CPU.
pretty complicated if all this is true.
btw, AMD graphic is current according to the link for your laptop, Realtek Audio Driver too?

regards
Michael
