The system locked up, and after about 10 seconds, I received this blue screen. This is my first time receiving this error, but I will note I've been experiencing random system failures (screen goes black, computer begins rebooting) about once a month for three or so months now.

No new hardware has been installed in that time, though the system was physically moved to a new building prior to these system failures; I performed the move myself, so I'm confident that the system was handled with relative care, but cannot rule out that this contributed or is the cause of the issue.

See below for requested system information.

  • The OS is Windows 7 Professional x64, and was purchased as a retail product. The OS was installed in November of 2015. Prior to this, the system ran on Windows 7 Home Premium, which was also a retail version. The SSD upon which the OS exists was likely installed around November of 2012, but I don't have a specific date because it was a gift rather than something I purchased for myself.
  • The CPU is an AMD FX-8350 Vishera, running at standard clock of 4.0GHz. This CPU was installed in September of 2013.
  • The GPU is a GIGABYTE GB-R9295X2-8GD-B, using the Radeon R9 295X2 chipset, running at standard clock of 1018MHz with an 8GB GDDR5 cache. This GPU was installed in September of 2014.
  • The MoBo is a GIGABYTE GA-990FXA-UD7, Extended ATX form factor with an AM3+ socket. This MoBo was installed in September of 2013.
  • The PSU is an Antec HCP-1300, which outputs up to 1300W and is 80+ Platinum certified. This PSU was installed in September of 2013.
  • The system is a desktop, but was custom built and so lacks a specific manufacturer or model number. For the record, the system is currently running in a two-monitor setup. Both monitors are 16:9, but the primary monitor is running at 2560x1440 and the secondary at 1920x1080.

If any further information is required, please ask.

See attached for requested Sysnative file, as well as a picture I hastily took with my phone of the BSOD error message. I appreciate any assistance that can be offered in troubleshooting the issue(s) noted.

Hi Rotaretilbo,

See if updating the BIOS to version FC improves stability.
