Hi Sysnative

I used the ccleaner & Disk Cleanup programs about 3 days ago and since then i have a problem with my laptop. While watching movies, browsing, updating windows and downloading. I updated to Windows 10 recently, but since i had the BSOD errors. I did reset my PC back to Windows 8.1 which did not work as i still encounter this problem, but now just without the blue-screen. My PC now just freezes and then i have to power off with holding the power button.

Also i got the following errors on the Blue-Screen: Kernel_Memory_Error / Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error. I have a feeling that this was done by my own doing, because it hit me awhile ago as i was reading some of your threads about not to select some application in the ccleaner / disk cleaner app & i selected every "tick box" there was to select. Does look like i have removed dump-files or who knows what.

Please help, as i am really frustrated and scared that my PC will "Kiss" the wall very soon... :banghead:

Thanking You

Hi. . .

System freezing can be caused by a problem with RAM.

Run memtest86+ one stick at a time; alternate the slots - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/hardware-tutorials/3909-test-ram-memtest86.html

The "Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error" BSODs are often associated with hard drive failure.

If you have an HDD, run SeaTools for DOS, LONG test - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/hardware-tutorials/4072-hard-drive-hdd-diagnostics.html

If you have an SSD, check SSD manufacturer's support site for a firmware update.

Lastly, please run - https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...ng-instructions-windows-10-8-1-8-7-vista.html

Happy New Year!

EDIT: if running CCleaner, DO NOT run the registry cleaner.
