Hi,

Been having problems on my laptop recently with regular crashes and Blue screen error messages.

These are the more frequent messages I'm getting:

MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED
FAULTY_HARWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE

These crashes occur quite frequently sometimes 3 times in an hour!!

The pc reboots okay and can work fine for hours or just minutes before the BSOD appears again.

Any advice as to how I can resolve this would be fantastic......as it's driving me NUTS!!

Many thanks,

Hi,

Thanks for your response to my request for help.
I'm a pc novice so some of the tasks you have requested are beyond my comprehension, apologies for this.
However I have been able to attach the zip files you have requested, which I hope are useful.

The run memtest86+ has me somewhat baffled & I am totally confused about how to carry out this process.

You should know that the Blue Screen of death problems suddenly occurred after a large Windows 10 update.
The update in particular was:
UPDATE FOR MICROSOFT WINDOWS (KB3133431)

Since this very same update - I am also getting advisory messages stating that 'The BROADCOM 802.11 network adapter is NOT compatible with the Version of Windows 10 installed on my pc'

I have checked but there is currently NO update available for this network adapter.

I don't know if these could be connected to the problems I'm experiencing in any way?

Your advice is much appreciated.
Thanks,

You may have to take the system to a repair shop if you are unable to perform hardware testing on your own.

For memtest86+ -- create the CD-R as outlined in the tutorial then boot from the CD and let the test run for at least 7 passes.

There is nothing in the update that would cause BSODs.

As for the Broadcom wifi adapter - according to the system reports that you attached, you are accessing the Internet via the Broadcom wifi adapter. All may seem OK for now, but the lack of a driver update for Windows 10 may mean that you'll need to purchase a new wifi adapter in the future.

The problem with your system (BSODs) does appear to be hardware related.
