Hi guys,

hope you can help me out. I get the BSOD every now and then on this machine, cannot really pinpoint what triggers it.

please note that the OS is in Dutch language and I this is not my own machine. answered the questions to the best of my knowledge.

Hi reehan,

Please remove Daemon Tools & Gigabyte software, both are known for causing problems.

Please ensure the SSD firmware is up to date.

Please remove this driver
Code:
aoddriver4.3	[COLOR=#ff0000]AODDriver4.3[/COLOR]	\??\[COLOR=#ff0000]c:\program files\ati technologies\ati.ace\fuel\amd64\aoddriver2.sys[/COLOR]

Please uninstall Avast and use Windows Defender as alternative while troubleshooting.
I suggest to uninstall Avast first using the normal way, through programs & features in control panel, then using the uninstall utility you can get from here to make sure everything is removed properly.
Code:
ffffd000`236328a8 fffff800`c4fde3edUnable to load image \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\aswSnx.sys, Win32 error 0n2
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for aswSnx.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for aswSnx.sys

Hi axe0,

Thanks !
done all your steps, except removing aoddriver2.sys
Not sure on how to uninstall this ?
Having said that, no bsod so far..

Also, may be off topic, but is Windows Defender sufficient or would you recommend an antivirus (apart from Avast off course)?

Windows Defender is good enough for most daily usage as long as you know what you're doing and do nothing that may be suspicious like clicking on a link in a mail or opening an attachment from a strange mail (obvious examples).
