Hi, I was reading this thread that was recently posted that I found it because I have the same problem.
Since about the same time as that thread was made, I've been blue screening at least once, and more often than not, multiple times a day, but only while playing League of Legends.
OS - Windows 7
· 64-bit
· What was original installed OS on system? - Windows 7
· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? - Full retail version
· Age of system (hardware) - 2012, installed the graphics card in 2013
· Age of OS installation, have you re-installed the OS? - 2012, I reinstalled the operating system just a few months ago as well
· CPU - Intel Core i5-2500K 3.30Ghz
· Video Card - AMD Radeon HD 7870
· System Manufacturer - Custom built
I can't really see a way to attach a file in a message, so I'll probably have to just remake this as a thread to attach the minidump but here's some of it.
Bug Check Code: 0x00000101
Caused by Driver(address): atikmdag.sys(+81f17)
File Description: ATI Radeon Kernel Mode Driver
File Version: 8.01.01.1343
Crash Address: ntoskrnl.exe+75bc0
Here are some of the things I've tried already
· I tried updating a lot of different drivers.
· I ran memtest, although admittedly for only 4 passes, I should probably rerun it for 8 at some point.
· I did a System File Checker.
· I also ran, I think it was bug checker or something on my C: Drive. I don't really remember where it was as my uncle was the one who did it.
· I ran Driver Verifier with the settings you listed in the previous thread, and while it didn't BSoD, a few seconds after logging in and getting back to my desktop, it kind of went screwy. The screen split into a bunch of columns and what was my wallpaper looked like it went through a very fine paper shredder in each column. I may just not have given it enough time to BSoD, because after about 30 or so seconds I just restarted the computer and reset Verifier.
It seems to be mostly sporadic as I've gone sometimes as long as seven ~30 min games without crashing and recently it's been crashing nearly every game, though since I did the last two things on the list it hasn't crashed.
I would greatly appreciate any help.
Also, sorry about all the bold. Most of this is pasted and for some reason it decided to bold everything and undoing it seems tricky and time consuming.
