Parents' computer. I've tried keeping it afloat for awhile now but I think hardware is finally starting to fail. I analyzed the BSOD with Windows DevToolkit and saw something about Google Chrome, so I uninstalled it. I also saw something that said "Probably Related to: Hardware". I'm hoping this forum can help pinpoint any further details so I can proceed with repairs.

·

Hi christrost. :welcome:
Did you under-overclocked your machine?
When have you cleaned your heatsinks, fans and their "breathers"/"air slits"(???) last time? And put a new layer of thermal past on the processor?
Did you update all of your drivers from the manufacturer/OEM website? Or from other sources (i.e. DriverUpdater programs)?

This is a 7-8 year old Compaq that belongs to my parents. No modification has been done. No cleaning has been done (by me anyway), and no new paste has ever been applied to my knowledge.

The only driver updates have come from Windows Update.

I did run 8 passes of the memTest (took almost all day) and came back with 0 errors. I'm going to try and run diagnostics on the hard drive next.

View attachment 18164I had the computer in my possession to run diagnostics for 4 days and had zero BSODs while I was working on it. Passed memory and HD diagnostics so this morning I went to shut it down to box it back up to return it, and literally as I shut it down it BSOD'd. New message this time around MRVW13B.sys.

New tool output attached....

But in your system-info I see there is NETGEAR WG311v3 54Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter associated to that driver.
Hence it should be your wireless adapter.
If you are using it, check if there are updates of it on the manufacturer website.
Otherwise (if you are not using it), disable it.
