· the OS is an OEM version (came pre-installed on system)
· Age of system (hardware)= not sure
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? no

· CPU
· Video Card
· MotherBoard
· Power Supply - brand & wattage (if laptop, skip this one)

· System Manufacturer = ASUSTeK Computer inc.
· Exact model number (if laptop, check label on bottom) ASUS Desktop PC CM1740 Series

· Desktop

Please check this directory (C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP) for Kernel Memory Dumps, and then upload to a free file sharing site such as Dropbox or OneDrive (SkyDrive), and then post the link to the file in your next post. Please ensure that the Kernel Memory Dump is placed within a zipped folder in order to decrease the download/upload times.

sorry but i will need some instructions on how to do that. i keep getting a message that windows cannot read the file. Thanks!!

Hi,

Can you further elaborate please? Are you getting this message when attempting to zip the MEMORY.DMP, etc? If so, you may need to take ownership - Take Ownership Shortcut - Windows 7 Help Forums
