  • A brief description of your problem (but you can also include the steps you tried)
I've been running my setup for about a year now, however last few weeks when I'm fullscreen in chrome, a handful of times I get a BSOD. I checked event viewer the first time and found it was a corrupt driver so I updated it. It happened again about 2 days later and found the driver had a new update ready so I updated again. All was good for a few days however I just got another BSOD from exactly the same circumstance (Fullscreen netflix in chrome, switching to a new episode) which resulted in said BSOD with the error listing as "Video Scheduler Internal Error". I read up on it, and among the many threads about it, I noticed one recurring item: "Disable hardware acceleration on chrome". I have done this as of about an hour ago, however I figured it'd be best to post here and see what the experts think in case this isn't the solution

I'm pretty sure disabling hardware acceleration on Chrome will fix this issue since it's only ever happened on chrome, however as I said I'd like to get a second opinion from experts to make sure i'm not missing anything.
Thanks.

Yeah I disabled hardware acceleration so i'll try doing the extension thing aswell - Unfortunately these BSODs pretty much only happening once a night so will see if it happens today at all.

No BSODs at all last night, gonna see what happens today just incase but assuming no BSODs it seems we can confirm the cause as having hardware acceleration enabled.

Havent had a single blue screen since - Was definitely the hardware acceleration - Can close this now please. Thanks :)
