Re-install the drivers for your Broadcom device.
  1. First, download the driver you plan to install. Then do the next steps.
  2. Click the Start Button
  3. Right Click My Computer/Computer
  4. Click Manage
  5. Click Device Manager from the list on the left
  6. Expand Network adapters
  7. Right click the Broadcom Wireless Network device
  8. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
  9. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
  10. Restart your computer only if Windows asks you to.
  11. Install the latest driver for the device.

Alternatively:
  1. Login as an adminstrative user.
  2. First, download the driver you plan to install. Then do the next steps.
  3. Click Start Button
  4. Click Control Panel
  5. Click Hardware and Sound
  6. Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
  7. Expand Network adapters
  8. Right click the Broadcom Wireless Network device
  9. Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
  10. Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
  11. Restart your computer only if Windows asks you to.
  12. Install the latest driver for the device.

Thank you for your reply Writhziden. All of the drivers are the latest drivers available on the Lenovo website for this tablet. I experienced this issue with the tablet out of the box, so I reinstalled Windows 8 Pro fresh and installed every driver from the Lenovo website. Do you have any other suggestions? Settings within the wireless adapter's settings perhaps?
 
You could try changing the advanced power settings on the system to see if there are Sleep/Hibernate settings for your wireless adapter.


Also check your BIOS settings for any wake from sleep settings involving network and/or wireless adapters.


When does this problem occur? A 0x9F typically occurs when putting the system to sleep, hibernating, or shutting down the system. It may also occur when trying to resume from one of these states.

Your first priority should be to contact Lenovo support and see what they recommend. They may not be aware of the driver issue / power state issue of the device due to the drivers installed.
