Hi guys!
I am using a Stealthtouch M5, running on Windows XP Professional. I am now stuck in a boot loop after it shut down abruptly due to power outage, it will just automatically restart before getting into the logon screen. I have tried disabling the automatically restart, but by doing so I will get the BSOD with the following error:
STOP: c0000221 unknown Hard Error
\SystemRoot\System32\ntdll.dll
Furthermore, I have also tried booting up into Hiren's Mini Windows XP to run a chkdsk on the hard drive, and ran a virus scan with Bitdefender, even after deleting the infected file on the hard disk, I am still getting the same error.
After that, I attempted to boot it up from a bootable USB containing Windows XP Professional OS but unfortunately it will just stuck on the "Press any key to boot from USB" after a key is pressed. To confirm that the USB should be bootable, I have successfully boot it up on another computer. So I am not sure why it just doesn't work.
Suspected of corrupted system files, I tried fixing it with another computer running Windows 7, with the command,
sfc /scannow /offwindir=d:\windows /offbootdir=d:\
but unfortunately it says "Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service", is there any other way I can run this command?
I am really out of ideas to fix it, can someone please give me some advice?
Thank you so much!!
