BSOD 0x7f UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP caused by ntoskrnl & ntkrnlmp - Windows 7 x64

I have been getting BSOD for over a month now. I have tried re-configuring BIOS settings, updating the BIOS, SFC and HD scans, driver updates, virus and malware scans, GPU and ram cards troubleshooting.The BSODs are random more common when playing videos or games, but they do happen even when idle. The PC is also rebooting itself very frequently, usually before I get a BSOD. The BSOD and the rebooting do not happen if I boot in safe mode. I have tried everything I know to troubleshoot and fix this issue but no cigar! You're my last hope! :banghead: :huh:

No. I'm just running Windows 7. This folder was created when I went from XP to 7. Thanks.

It sounds like your on the right track to resolve this one yourself already:smile9:

Finish isolating the problem with clean boot and adding back in the 3rd party stuff in small groups or one at a time until you find the offender.

Moin,

you are getting this in your attached dumpfile

BugCheck 7F, {8, 80050031, 6f8, fffff800036d962f}

Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!KiDoubleFaultAbort+b2 )

that means a second failure happened while the system is busy with a first one & only the last check is written to the minidump, pretty useless in this case.

either prepare your System with verifier
https://www.sysnative.com/forums/bs...er-bsod-related-windows-10-8-1-8-7-vista.html

or change to an kerneldump which may catch the faultily driver too.

kind regards,

michael
