BSOD 0x116 NVLDDMKM.SYS

Hi everyone!

So I finally registered to this forum to ask for your help. Yes, I'm quite desperate in solving this problem. Let's start, I bought this DELL INSPIRON 14R in Singapore. It's CPU is 17 series and GPU is Nvidia GT630M. So I frequently play with the use of this laptop. I know that this is not a gaming laptop but I can play several games like Mass Effect series, Dragon Age series even the latest one, Dragon Age Inquisition.

So this is my problem, I'm a big fan of Telltale Games' games from The Walking Dead to Game of Thrones. When playing these games, I always encounter this BSOD 0x00000116 nvlddmkm.sys. Only in these games that I encounter these BSOD. I play games which has complicated graphics like Dragon Age, Mass Effect and even Watch Dogs but I never encounter this BSOD, only on these Telltale games.

I also tried UNDERCLOCKING it.

So that's it. I'll try to update this thread with a dump file if I encounter it again. Thanks!!

If you encounter it again...Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions - Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7 & Vista ...

Might be also helpful to be more precise regarding your laptop modell ... I found many 'DELL Inspirion 14R' variants:
