Hi,
Excuse my English, I'm from Germany and not native speaker.
I have following Problem:
1. We have a Hyper-v -windows server 2016 with 4 VM.
2. One of the VM have problems with installing Update KB4493473. The Windows starts updating, but after Rebooting it starts a Bootloop. Installing by Hand, the Update failed.
3. After Sfc /scannow, I get the Error: There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart Windows and run SFC scan again. Reboot does not cause something.
3.1. I found a Forumpost, where i should Delete pending.xml in Windows PE-Modus, after that I get the Error: Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them
4. DISM works with out problems
5. SFCfix get the error: Something get horribly wrong. I get a chrashdump. If I should post it please let me know.

The Server may reboot several times as part of this fix. This is expected and normal.

Step#1 - FRST Fix
NOTICE: This script was written specifically for this user, for use on that particular machine. Running this on another machine may cause damage to your operating system
1. Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.
Note: You need to run the 64-bit Version so please ensure you download that one.
2. Download the attached fixlist.txt and save it to the Desktop.
Note. It's important that both files, FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work (in this case...the desktop).
3. Run FRST64 by Right-Clicking on the file and choosing Run as administrator.
4. Press the Fix button just once and wait. If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
5. When finished FRST64 will generate a log on the Desktop (Fixlog.txt). Please post the contents of it in your reply.

Thank you.

Please open the Command Prompt as Administrator and do the following:

Code:
reg delete "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\SideBySide\Winners\x86_microsoft-windows-naturallanguage6-base_31bf3856ad364e35_none_3e3344a37f21d3c5" /ve /f

Afterwards, run SFC Scan twice.

Does it still report corrupt files?

2 Times "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations." / "Der Windows-Ressourcenschutz hat keine Integritätsverletzungen gefunden. "

Sounds very good!!!
