Audio cuts out on video players

Okay, so I first thought this was a youtube-only problem. After a while of the video playing, the audio cuts out, the video keeps going for a few seconds, then stops. I hit play again, the audio catches up to the video and continues. It's getting to be a big pain in the butt. It's been doing this for a couple days.
Then I was on TeamFourStar's website watching a video and it did the same thing--they do not use youtube as their video player.

The latest Flash Player version 11.7.700.169 has a known sound bug in it; it is fixed in the current Flash Player beta 11.7.700.191: Download Adobe Flash Player 11.7 Beta for Desktops - Adobe Labs (which will be released shortly).

Could this be your problem?

I seem to be having lots of issues with a few things that have been recently updated. Maybe it's just one of those times? That is inclusive of Flash too, so maybe I will be testing the beta out. Although it is a beta, if it works, then that's all I care about until they release something official.
